Mutharamman Temple is situated in Amaravila, a village within the Neyyattinkara taluk of the Thiruvananthapuram district. The temple is located approximately 3.5 kilometers from Neyyattinkara. The renowned Kulasai Muttharamman Temple is situated in Kulasekharapatnam, close to Tiruchenthur in the Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu, and is believed to be approximately 300 years old. Mutharamman is regarded as an incarnation of Goddess Durga, and the Ammankoda Mahotsavam is a prominent festival celebrated at the Sri Mutharamman Temple. During this five-day event, a significant number of devotees gather at the temple to partake in the celebrations.
